It's Too Late To Do Josh Brolin's Agent K Prequels Now
Why It’s Already Too Late for Josh Brolin’s Agent K Prequels
While Brolin could still effortlessly play K today, we're well past the point that he can portray the character in prequel movies. The actor was 44 years old (playing a 29-year-old K) in Men in Black 3, which makes him 58 years old now. That's older than Jones was when he made the first two Men in Black movies.
It simply would not be believable at this point for Brolin to play K in films set before the original film now. And that's disappointing. There was great potential for this idea, but Sony let it pass the Men in Black franchise by — and without ever really even actively considering the notion. Brolin deserved a shot at carrying the franchise forward after Men in Black 3.
